great base for city exploration with nearby parks and attractions

we loved how close we were to crystal bay and freedom lake park, making it easy to take leisurely strolls and enjoy the natural beauty around us, although the rooms seemed a bit smaller than expected for a family with children.

The pool was enjoyable, though the toilet needed multiple flushes to work properly.

Staff are fantastic and breakfast is great! Room needs updating, though.

However, the surrounding area lacked attractions, and the hotel didn't provide any unique activities or excursions during the stay. A few amenities were showing signs of wear, which impacted the overall experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the spacious one-bedroom suite, which came with a full kitchen that made meal prep easy. The breakfast offered a nice variety, including fresh fruits and hearty options, setting us up well for each day. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially Carolyn, who made our mornings brighter with her warm hospitality. However, the bathroom could use some maintenance as the tub had a slight clog.

Enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and the fitness center. Breakfast was great with fresh fruits and hot dishes every day.
